One Love Foundation opportunity for UW-Madison students
Professor Lauren Papp and her Couple Relationships class are hosting the One Love Foundation’s visit to campus November 17-18. The One Love Foundation was established in 2010 by Sharon and Lexie Love, with family and friends, to honor the memory of Yeardley Love, who attended the University of Virginia and lost her life to relationship violence just weeks before her graduation.
With multimedia content, the foundation aims to educate young adults on the warning signs and resources for relationship violence:
The One Love Foundation is looking for students’ honest opinions and feedback on their educational film. Each 90-minute workshop will include a new film screening and feedback session. This is a unique opportunity to weigh in on dating violence resources that are currently being developed. Your feedback can play an important role in preventing relationship violence and shaping future workshops around the country. “Be 1 For Change” and join the One Love Foundation on campus by accepting our invitation to this landmark event.
Screenings take place on November 17th and 18th in Nancy Nicholas Hall.
Snacks and beverages will be provided.
Seating is limited; please secure your seat by completing this RSVP today.
